Very good gelato! It was my favorite gelato place while I was in Rome. It was packed but the line moved fast.

Did some Research to find the best gelato in town and noticed this was a very hotspot so I put my GPS on and started to walk for about 10 minutes and it was worth it when we arrived It was only a few people there in line so I started to make mine and then I realized once I got up to the gelato station you had to purchase your ticket at the register first and show the gelato server your ticket so that way they can make your selections. Soon a huge crowd started film the place causing me drop my gelato on the floor. One of the servers saw what happened and I took my order again. the parlor was so authentic and old-fashioned with staff was friendly most importantly the gelato was so good especially with the added whipped cream on top, there was seating inside and outside, and they not only have exotic gelato flavors, They also have baked goods and coffee too.

These gelatos were SOOO good!!! This was my first time trying a gelato. I noticed so many ppl walking by with gelatos so I followed the crowd to this spot. Inside was so cute. They have cookies, wine and a seating area. Okay so on to the gelato-There were SOOO many flavors to choose from. I got half chocolate and half caramel and it was such a delicious mix!! I'm ready to go back and try other flavors tomorrow.

One of the best gelato shops you will ever come across in your life and I truly stand by that statement. This shop might be super busy no matter what hour you go to but the hype as everyone else has stated is real. Their gelato and sorbetto flavors are magical. The process to order is a bit unique but with the amount of traffic they get it makes sense. You first wait in line to purchase your ticket and you can get your gelato in a cup or freshly made cone. I totally recommend the chocolate dipped waffle cone as the texture and flavor is unparalleled. You'll then head to the gelato shop in the back to hand over your ticket once someone is available to take your order. A few of my favorite flavors are their sea salt caramel, stracciatella with chocolate chip, lavender, and dark chocolate. My recommendation is to opt for their three flavor cone, it's the right amount and you won't be sad once it finishes. Front shop features various pastries, cakes, and baked goods and there is even a sit-down restaurant that has tableside service. A tried and true shop that everyone in your group will love.

Giolitti was our best Gelato experience in Rome. This is that real stuff. The only unfortunate part of our experience was seeing that the establishment offers pear gelato on the screen-- yet, it was nowhere to be found. This disappointment struck the customer base like a farm that's out of cows. Regardless, we pushed forward and found the best flavors-- Nutella & Pomegranate. Not together. But they're the best. Mango too. Thank you Giolitti, bring back the pear.

This would be the perfect spot to take a break from exploring - there are a ton of seats in the back and it's a cute little place. I got dark chocolate and Nutella, which were both great but wayyyy more decadent than any of the other places I went to, so kind of wish I got something else. Next time!

This is a famous gelato shop and always packed since it's close to the Pantheon in the heart of Rome. For self-service (takeaway), you pay in advance at the cashier before wedging your way up to the counter to order. You might need some elbow pads in order to see all the different flavors through the chaos. There are some tables inside and outside for table service but you have to pay extra. The gelato itself is pretty good. I liked the melon flavor which was unique. The pistachio was okay but not the best I've had.

The BEST gelato ever!! I'm so glad we hit this gelato spot and didn't let the long line and crowds stop us! The lines were going all the way outside of the building. And the line was consistently long! It never went down. People just kept showing up for gelato. It was insane. But after trying the gelato, I get it lol It's bomb gelato! The flavors are great. And there's a good variety of gelato flavors. I got the WHITE CHOCOLATE and blueberry. The white chocolate was my favorite! Soooooooo sweet and delicious! 10/10 My husband got the caramel and Oreo. The caramel was good. But the Oreo was too heavy on the Oreo and not enough cream filling flavor. Still, the flavors were spot on!

My tired dogs needed a break. The endless walking I was doing seeing as much of Rome on foot had finally got the best of me. My achey feet needed a break and were going to kick me in the groin if I didn't take a seat. LOL. Even though everyone in this town, locals and tourists alike more often than not, get their gelato on the go, I just needed a sit down in what I would describe as the most lavish art deco gelato serving dining room in the world. This is truly one of the finest all around gelato experiences I've had being attended to by a gentleman who could not have been more exuberant serving gelato for a living. I wish I had a job where I was even 25% as jovial as he was, I'd settle for 5%. ;-( There were many awestruck smiles at my table when our orders arrived and rightly so, these were monster sized desserts which could frankly have been shared. It definitely took a while to finish this gelato sundae but this was one of the smoothest creamiest versions we had in Rome. The marble dining room service was a classic experience even if it was more expensive to sit down. Like everything in Rome, the eyes feasted as well. If you're in need of a break give Giolotti a try, your feet will thank you too. LOL
